The following structure is for non commercial work for personal non published uses.  Commercial work and work for publication is quoted per job.  Please contact me for details.

Pricing

The creation fee is a charge that covers my time for the actual photo session itself.  This fee does not cover any prints or files.

A Full day of taking photos   $250  This is for a full eight hour day.  It is the best value.  No need to be rushed.  Time for you to make as many outfit changes as you like, and even allows for some time to travel to different locations.

If you don't need a full day, the half day is available at $150.  This still allows some time, but does put limit on travel and outfit changes.  Yet for many this is enough time to do the job properly.

For the occasional session that with minimumal needs, the fee is $50 an hour with a one hour minimum.

Travel with in the DFW area within a one and a half hour drive is no charge for half day or full day sessions.  Over that a charge might be incurred so ask for details.

For people with physical disabilities, I am more than happy to travel to them at no charge. There is no need to get a wheelchair into a car, or have some physical issue that makes travel difficult for them, I don't mind making the trip to make it easier for them.  The effort it takes to get them there often shows in the photos, and by being relaxed in their environment we get the best results.

Why Buy Prints from Me

With the new world of digital imaging, everyone wants to make their own prints.  For some individuals and at some times, this is a good way to go.  It can also be a HUGE mistake.  Why?  It takes knowledge to get the best out of an image file.  Without knowledge, one is often only cheating themselves.  Even if one has that knowledge to properly get the most from an image, far too often they take them to the cheapest processor  they can find to get the prints, or they print them out on a $50 inkjet printers.  Now once in a while you find a bargain printing option where someone running the machine actually has a clue as to what they are doing, but its rare.

When you buy prints from me, the ones you select are retouched to your specifications.  Each one you select to purchase we sit down together and you tell me how you think the photo looks best.  I also stand behind my prints.

Print Prices

Smaller prints are handled on a per sheet basis or per sheet of 8.5 by 11 photo paper.  It can be a single 8x10, 2 5x7's or wallets or any combination thereof, its $15 per sheet.

    11x14's  $50 per print

    11x17    $75 per print

    13x19  $90 per print

Larger prints are available and prints on other medium such as canvas is available  Ask for your specific needs.  Discounts for volume purchases are possible

Digital Files

For those that want the digital files, those are available for non commercial work for an additional $100.  The files will be provided either on a CD or DVD in either JPG, Tiff or Adobe Digital Negative formats. No retouching or alteration is done to these files.  These are straight out of the camera.  Should you need help after the fact with retouching, its at $35 per hour.    With this you will also see a release that print these images at any photo lab.  This is a great long term way to store for future generations and gives you the option later to get additional prints ect, possibly after I am no longer on this old earth.

The one restriction on these images is that they may not be used for commercial purposes without expressed written permission.  Commercial usage is a different rate.  Printing a copy for your wall is fine.  Using it in a print ad to promote a business you own isn't without permission.

Feel free to ask any questions you might have and would love to discuss with you the particulars of your specific project.

These files can be resized to work well in digital frames.  It is a way to make sure photos don't just sit in a drawer.

    Photo Books

These are custom priced books and it depends on how many photos are in the book, types of binding and other factors such as how involved you wish to be in the design.  You can choose from paperbacks, hardbound books in several diferent sizes and all that affects how much.    One of the big advantages is that it's your book.   Add text if you like.  Have ideas?  If so let's talk.
